DIRECTIONS
Yale Base, Yale BC
Fraser/Nahatlatch/Coquihalla River Expeditions meet in the historic town of Yale, BC (allow 2 hours driving time from Vancouver).From Vancouver, head east on Highway 1.
- At Hope, take Exit 170, where Highway 1 exits off.
- Follow the signs for the Highway 1 east through the town of Hope and up the Fraser Canyon.
- We are about 23 km from Hope, 1 km west of Yale on the right side of Highway 1.
- We have signs at each end of our property (Fraser River Raft Expeditions).
- Look for a big building with a red metal roof and cedar siding.
- Turn right and come down our driveway. The Teague House B&B is at our base.
- For our one-day Fraser trip we meet at our base at 1 km before Yale (allow 2 hours driving time from Vancouver).
Thompson Base, Lytton, BC
Thompson River Expeditions meet in Lytton, BC (allow 3 hours driving time from Vancouver).
- From Vancouver, head east on Highway 1.
At Hope, take Exit 170, where Highway 1 exits off.
- Follow the signs for the Highway 1 east through the town of Hope and up the Fraser Canyon. You will pass through Yale and Boston Bar. Lytton is the next town.
- At Lytton, turn left and head down the hill into the town.
- Follow the signs for the Lytton-Lillooet Hwy # 12 and cross over the bridge.
- Immediately after the bridge turn right at a series of old buildings which will look familiar to fans of the movie "The Pledge" as they were built for the movie.
- Our office is beside these buildings, at the G'wsep Gas Station.
Bus Info
If traveling by bus Greyhound Canada offers service from Vancouver to Yale and Lytton. As Yale is a tiny town there is more frequent service to the town of Hope. If you are unable to schedule to Yale, we can pick up you from Hope, just give us advance notice. Greyhound Canada serves most towns in BC . |
